Since 6th April 2015 all medical reports that are completed to evidence a claim under the Pre Action Protocol for Low Value Injury Road Traffic Accidents must be a fixed cost medical report completed by a Medco Accredited medical expert. The Medco Portal must be used to select the MRO (Medical Reporting Organisation) that is instructed to source the medical report. CL Medicall Aid is a Tier 1 MRO and has been registered with Medco since it was introduced. We pride ourselves on our commitment to comply with the MOJs criteria for Medical Reporting Organisations and have a dedicated team responsible for continuously ensuring we are working in line with the most recent Medco Guidance. CL Medicall Aid has a proven track record of meeting the SLAs put in place by Medco and instructing parties and will continue to strive towards exceeding these at every given opportunity.
CL Medicall Aid has been accredited to the International Standard in Information Security (ISO27001) since 2015. This accreditation allows for an annual external audit of all systems and controls in place for the protection of data and gives us as a company added confidence in our ability to protect the data of all our clients. In addition to this, CL Medicall Aid appointed a Caldicott Guardian to oversee the Data Protection processes and ensure that the company was working in line with the Caldicott Principles alongside all other Data Protection legislation.
Following the implementation of GDPR, CL Medicall Aid has worked tirelessly to ensure that we are leading the industry in our commitment to Protecting the Data of individuals. Our commitment comes from the board downwards and all departments are given Data Protection update training several times per year. The principles of data handling are taken into account in all our processes and the rights of individuals are at the very heart of everything we do.
